Kóreksstaðavígi is a beautiful rock of basalt columns. There the Viking Kórekur is said to have fought his enemies to the death and been buried at the site. One drives past Hjaltalundur and takes the road towards the farm Kóreksstaðir. Park your car in an area close to the sign by the gate leading to the farm.
